working machines , and original tools connected with the silk manufactoring tradition, by means of which it is possible to follow two centuries of history of the silk industry in Piedmont and in Italy. At the entrance, the access of the facinating silk world : a real red thredt, in fact, guides the Visitor along the new renoveted itinerary on three floors. In some halls the visitor can see the whole silk production process: from the life cycle of the silk worm up to the reeling process, winding, twisting and doubling. The exposition follows an ideal itinerary with the convincement of outlining a complete map of the silk industry, not only in Piedmont, with a constant attention to the territory, to find through an identity tradition a way to the future. Towards the end of the preparation works of the first lot, the Foundation was compelled to present a management budget in which the safeguard and conservatios needs will match the social, economic and turistic developments, included in an integrated system among all the actors acting on the region. The areas of intervention on which the Foundation is concentrated, already starting from 2015, are four: a) – To improve the Museum’s impotance with educational workshop for the schools, and the realization of thematic visits, dedicated to specific targets of visitors. b) – Cultural activities and initiatives in the art field, with the ralization of high level temporary exibithions both local and national. c) – Activities and turistic promotional events on the territory. d) – Collateral activities to self-finance by renting the spaces for private meetings and company conferences. RECUPERO, RESTAURO E RIUSO FUNZIONALE DEL SETIFICIO DI CARAGLIO DENOMINATO FILATOIO ROSSO ( TEXTO EN ITALIANO DE AURELIO TOSELLI ) Il progetto preliminare generale, redatto ai sensi della Legge 109/94, è stato predisposto nell’agosto 1997 e riguardava il recupero dell’intero complesso, suddiviso in tre lotti funzionali. Tale progetto mirava a un rigoroso risanamento dell’edificio senza apportare modifiche alla struttura originaria, adeguando nuove e molteplici funzioni agli spazi preesistenti, evitando di creare sovrastrutture che potessero alterare l’immagine, ricca di fascino, dei grandi ambienti sei-settecenteschi. 106
